UK airspace remains closed

Flights in and out of Britain remain grounded due to the plume of volcanic ash in the atmosphere. It is estimated that one million UK residents are trapped abroad, while many more have been unable to get to their holiday and business destinations.  John McEwan, Chairman of ABTA and CEO of Advantage told Travel Daily that the situation was being closely monitored and constantly updated. “We couldn’t possibly have planned for something like this as it’s never happened before.
