Thomson Airways bring stranded holidaymakers home

Thomson Airways has estimated that it has ‘rescued’ 20,000 holidaymakers, nearly a third of those delayed.Thomson and First Choice accommodated all its overseas customers, providing 100,000 hotels room at no extra charge.”We have faced up to our responsibilities to our customers from day one. Our focus at Thomson Airways, Thomson and First Choice continues to be getting customers back home to their friends and families as quickly as possible,” said Thomson Airways Communications Director Christian Cull.Thomson Cruise ships have also helped bring travellers home, with 2,800 on the Thomson Dream arriving yesterday and a total of 1,100 passengers arriving this morning on the Island Escape and Celebrity Eclipse.
