Unite and BA still arguing

Unite has asked members to vote in a ‘consultative’ ballot tomorrow regarding continuous arguments with BA, reported the Telegraph. Despite progress being made in the long-running dispute, Unite and BA are now fighting about the removal of travel perks and number of disciplinary cases that have stemmed from members’ participation in the strikes. If the ballot, which runs for a week, is accepted then the row will end but a ‘no’ vote may result in further strike action. A Unite spokesman said strikes were a possibility and “it would become clear over the early part of next week what action we will have to take.””We are still in discussions,” said BA.
