World Cup screenings boost cruise sales

World Cup screenings boost cruise sales has seen a rise in bookings after three leading cruise lines announced they would be screening World Cup games. According to a survey by the cruise retailer, 59% of men refuse to book holidays during the World Cup season in fear of missing England games. Traditionally this has meant a surge in late bookings once England are knocked out of the tournament. But now that Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean cruises will show the games, football fans are opting for voyages that will please them and the family. “Many of our regular customers have been reluctant to book cruises, until hearing the news that cruise lines will be showing all the matches onboard,” said Director Mal Barritt.
