Columbus Travel Media has appointed Start Creative to enhance the brand and digital output of its flagship World Travel Guide. To revitalise the 20-year-old travel brand, Start will make the Columbus Travel Media brand more relevant and reflective of its position in the travel guide and destination content market. In the intial phases this will focus on the World Travel Guide website at www.worldtravelguide.net, which will be redesigned and developed onto a new CMS. A series of social media applications across the UK, France, Germany and Spain will then be developed. “We are looking forward to helping Columbus Travel Media both strengthen its brand positioning and deliver its great wealth of content to its audiences in the most vibrant and interesting way possible,” said Start’s Director of Digital Ken Frakes.
