Train app proves successful’s iPhone app handled over 2.1 million train time requests throughout April. At the end of January this year, 30% of the total train timetable requests performed by the website were through the app, which has been downloaded more than 500,000 times. Almost half of users have used it in April and it has become one of the top travel apps. “We wanted to make journey planning as easy as possible whilst on the move,” explained Marketing Director Iain Hildreth.  “Since launching app seven months ago we’ve continued to see a high amount of downloads every week and have held on to our top five position for free travel apps,” said Business Development Manager Richard Rowson.
