easyJet increases sales after BA strikes

easyJet has sold half its available flights from the UK since the BA strike dates were first announced. Around 250,000 seats are left in the week-strike periods from 30 May and 3 June. The airline has pledged free fast-boarding to BA Gold Card holders travelling with easyJet on strike days. “The prospect of three five-day BA strikes must be creating further uncertainty and disruption to BA passenger’s holiday and business arrangements,” explained easyJet UK General Manager Paul Simmons. “As always, our aim is to accommodate BA passengers wherever possible but they must take action to book alternative flights now as they are selling fast.”
