More than two thirds of children (69.1%) get more than seven hours of exercise a week when on holiday, a survey from Eurocamp has shown. Only 36.7% claimed to do this while they were at home while almost the same number of parents (36.1%) said their youngsters had between 10 and 15 hours of exercise on holiday. “Children genuinely do love being active and have lots of energy and enthusiasm. We’re glad the survey shows that children are very active while on holiday, it would be great if more of them carried this on while at home too,” said Eurocamp Assistant Brand Manager Jayne Esau. Two thirds of parents (66.2%) said bad weather stopped families being active at home. Eurocamp has also become an official sponsor of Change4Life.
