The Camping and Caravanning Club has seen a surge in bookings for the Bank Holiday weekend as Brits soak up the sun. Since 17 May there has been a 6% increase in bookings on Club Sites for the 28 May to 30 May period. Sites in Scotland and Wales have had a 9% and 8% rise respectively, while bookings in Central England have increased by 5%. South-east and south-west England have both seen a 6% rise. The weather over the weekend was quite incredible and our Club Sites were extremely busy with both campers and caravanners, who were keen to get out and explore and make the most of the soaring temperatures,” said Club Director General Robert Louden.
