Legal protection for travel firms launched

A law firm has set up an insurance package for travel companies following a trend of legal activity in the industry. Travlaw, formerly Stephen Mason Solicitors, has set up the cover to help providers and retailers with court claims, legal advice and support. “There is no doubt that the travel industry is seeing increasing numbers of claims in recent times, not only by consumers but also between businesses,” said Travlaw Partner Sarah Lacy. “Each year companies incur legal costs ensuring their booking conditions, commercial and employee contracts are compliant and up to date.
