The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened its doors temporarily to visitors of Orlando International’s Pow Wow convention last week. The majority of the park has been completed including the Hogsmeade Village, shops, restaurants, Hogwarts Castle and the Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff roller coasters. It will open on 18 June. Work is currently being completed on the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride inside the castle, which is a 360 degree experience. “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is yet another way that fans will be able to experience and enjoy Harry Potter for many years to come,” said DC Entertainment, who oversees the Harry Potter brand worldwide, President Diane Nelson in an update on the park’s website. “The power of this brand speaks for itself, as the enthusiasm of our dedicated fans around the world continues to grow even stronger as we move into the future.” “Harry Potter continues to spark the imaginations of fans of all ages and we really have seen the anticipation continue to build for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” added Warner Bros. Consumer Products President Brad Globe.
