PremiAir expands fleet and operations

PremiAir has expanded its private jet fleet and added a new major base in London. The aviation services company has taken over the managements of a fleet of LearJet private jets and has acquired a base at London’s Biggin Hill airport. The move has boosted the groups operating bases to six. “We’re exceptionally pleased with this acquisition which will further enhance PremiAir’s unique range of services,” said PremiAir’s Group Managing Director David McRobert. “Our new Biggin Hill operation is a long established Learjet 40 / 45 series maintenance facility and we’re delighted to add it to PremiAir’s two other aircraft maintenance facilities at Blackbushe and Oxford Airports.” He added that the company would use the Biggin Hill base to launch additional services. “We plan to home-base executive helicopters at Biggin for charter use, which we recognise is growing fast through major infrastructure and facility investment,” revealed McRobert. “It’s an extremely rapid 10 minute helicopter hop from Biggin into London using our own London Heliport Shuttle services.”
