KLM targets pink pound

KLM has launched its first campaign targeting the gay market in the UK through an online viral game. The KLM Gay Getaway game will take players on a whistle-stop tour of KLM’s top gay destinations as they answer a series of multiple choice questions. “KLM has long been a supporter of the gay community in the Netherlands so targeting the UK’s gay community is a logical next step for us,” explained KLM Royal Dutch Airlines UK and Ireland Marketing Communications Manager Verane Brissaud. “The UK’s gay community is very internet savvy and is active on a wide range of social media sites and blogs”. The game will be launched this Wednesday (28 July).
