Eastern Airways has announced it will expand its services in France. The UK carrier has set up a base at Dijon Bourgogne Airport to provide domestic flights to Bordeaux and Toulouse. “We have specialised in UK domestic scheduled services for over 12 years,” said Eastern Airways’ Chief Operating Officer Chris Holliday. “This latest venture allows us to share our expertise with the French domestic market.” Dijon Airport’s Managing Director Daniel Lefebvre said the routes would increase trade between Burgundy and the two regions of Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrenees. “With Eastern Airways, Burgundy will regain its taste for air travel,” he added.
