St Kitts to build private air terminal

St Kitts has announced that it is to build a new private air terminal to support the luxury tourist market. Construction on the new terminal at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport will begin in February and operations will commence at the end of 2012. This is a significant step forward in the transformation of St. Kitts’ tourism product,” said St Kitts Minister of Tourism & International Transport Senator Ricky Skerritt. “With competition for the global private jet market so intense, this project is designed to facilitate the type of arrival and departure experience that discerning travellers expect.” The terminal will have lounges, a business centre and related offices and processing facilities.
