Condor christens Boeing 767

Condor has named its Boeing 767 ‘Charlie Brown’ to raise awareness of its partnership with an aid charity. “By christening our Boeing 767 we hope to raise awareness of the partnership between ConTribute, our aid organisation, and the Peanuts and Luftahrt Ohne Grenzen (Wings of Help) and encourage interest in donations,” said the airline’s spokesperson Uwe Balser. “Directly involving our employees in the raising of funds - either through sales of licensed Peanuts products or through contributions to the donation boxes located in the lunchrooms - is an integral part of our joint fundraising activities. The service offers relief for nations affected by natural disasters, such as Pakistan and Haiti.
