Cumbria Tourism is set to target travel agents at this year’s Group Leisure and Travel Trade Show in Birmingham. Under the banner ‘Explore the Lake District, Cumbria’, businesses from the county will promote their attractions to encourage more group and coach trips to the region. “We welcome around 350 group visits on board the lake every year and are working hard to increase this through various value for money initiatives with local partners,” said Ullswater ‘Steamers’ Marketing Manager Rachel Bell.
