Frui looks to build agency partnerships

Frui Creative Holidays and Courses has revealed it is looking to sell through travel agencies. The London-based operator, formerly Point 101 Holidays, wants to build its partnerships following a near double increase in bookings this year. It is this interest which has resulted in the company’s launch. “We’re a growing business so we are always looking at different ways to sell our holidays,” Frui’s Co-Founder James Lockett told Travel Daily. “We usually team up with boutique properties and specialist companies.” He attributed the rise in sales to the current experience-led trend, as Frui focuses on photography, cooking and painting. “I think a lot of people are frustrated with going away and doing nothing,” he explained. “They want to do something, so we focus their attention on doing something creative.” In addition, Lockett said the operator had struck a chord with those travelling alone, as it allowed them to participate in an activity with the group. Frui currently offers holidays in Syria, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Morocco, Germany and Ireland.
