More business deals will be secured at this year’s World Travel Market, according to the Meridien Club’s latest poll. In the survey, 64% of senior buyers revealed that they expected to spend more in their travel industry deals than last year. In addition, 34% expect to conduct the same amount of business and only 2% plan to spend less. “I am delighted Meridian Club members are telling us they expect to conduct a greater number of business deals leading to larger monetary value than ever before,” said WTM’s Exhibition Director Simon Press. Meanwhile, six out of ten members expect to sign more business deals than they did at WTM 2009.
