Grand UK Holidays has reported a rise in bookings following the popularity of domestic tourism. As well as UK breaks, the operator has also seen bookings increase for ocean and river cruises within its over-55s market. “We cater for a wide range of tastes and budgets - our new Superdeals offer something for customers who are watching the pennies, but equally, we have many clients who take several tours a year to see the sights of Europe and the UK, by all means of transport,” explained Grand UK Holiday’s Sales Director Harold Burke. He added that with the appointment of the new Sales and Marketing Executive Lucy Grace, sales through travel agents should grow. “We have also increased the number of travel agents we work with this year and we aim to keep that expansion going,” said Burke.
