Superbreak has moved its updated ‘Agents Guide for Airport Add-on’s’ online. The decision was made to move away from the original print copy due to the high number of web bookings. The guide provides details on more than 140 airport, ferry and cruise port stop over hotels, plus airport parking and meet and greet services. “We wanted agents to have the information at their fingertips for this product as most agents book airport ancillaries online,” said Superbreak Sales Director Ian Mounser.”We’ve done it now to coincide with the fact that all our summer 2011 programme is now bookable for stays through to October 2011 which we hope will assist agents close out those forward add-on sales to go with long lead-time holiday and cruise enquiries. Airport add-ons continue to sell well for us, although independent agents are less productive in this area, so there are particular opportunities for them to grow their sales.” Meanwhile the company has reported that sales in the last five months are up 14% year on year with more than 100,000 customers booked through agents.
