Seasons in Style changed its name to Seasons today as part of a rebranding for the operator. Seasons’ Managing Director Paul Beacall said the redesign had been made to “refresh the brand and highlight distinctive travel knowledge.” Meanwhile the Chester-based company’s Agency Sales Manager Nigel Ham told Travel Daily that he was excited about the changes following a tough year. “Agency trade sales have been going very well and with our new look and brochures it is snappier and we’re excited about it,” he revealed. “It has been a tough year with the ash cloud and BA strikes but enquiries have been good.” However, Ham said that agents faced a competitive trading market as consumer patterns change. “Agents are saying that customers are shopping around and not committing until later on,” he explained. “So they may enquire but then the booking will not come through for another six to eight weeks.” Meanwhile, Ham said that the Caribbean and Indian Ocean destinations remained the most popular destinations for its long-haul sales, but sales to Europe had also been strong. The company is now looking to build its ski sales following the launch of its ski brochure. “Our ski brochure has been out for around two weeks so we are monitoring this at the moment,” said Ham. “We will then have the ‘Europe and North Africa’; ‘Caribbean, Mexico, USA and Canada’; and ‘Indian Ocean, Middle East and Far East’ brochures released later this year.” A tailor-made brochure will also be launched.
