The Bahamas Tourist Office launches new digital online strategy

The Bahamas Tourist Office is to launch a new multi-lingual digital platform across Europe and China to increase passenger traffic and travel bookings. The single platform, which will host multiple sites for the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and China, is being launched by travel marketing company Fox Kalomaski. “These digital developments are an exciting opportunity to boost interest in the islands among a discerning and affluent international audience that will be attracted to our fantastic holiday destination,” said Deputy Director General of the Bahamas Tourist Office Tommy Thompson. “The on-going future web costs for designers and developers has been heavily minimised through understanding the needs of each country and then designing and building a bespoke and fully manageable Content Management System around their requirements.” Following the launch of the site, The Bahamas will be able to analyse user activity and engagement between countries for the first time.
