More than 45 luxury properties have been added to the Small Luxury Hotels of the World portfolio since the turn of the year, according to the leading hotel brand. A year of strong growth has seen an increase in reservations of 16 per cent in comparison to this time last year and an increase in revenue of 12 per cent since January. And with the majority of new offerings being located in the EMEA region, the company is now intent on expanding futher into the Far East and sub-continental Asia. ”Increasing the geographical spread of the SLH brand is central to our development strategy, and the fact that we now have a strong presence in emerging markets such as China and Japan among many other countries enables us to meet the needs of our loyal and well-travelled clientele,” said Chief Executive Officer of Small Luxury Hotels of the World Paul Kerr.
