Superbreak pushes events-driven trips

Superbreak has seen an increase in sales for packages created around events.  The operator is now advising agents to make use of exhibitions such as The Egyptian Book of the Dead at the British Museum; Tutankhamen - His Tomb and Treasures in Manchester and O2’s Titanic Exhibition to sell holidays to the cities. “Events drive business and it’s important for agents to keep up to date with everything that is launching,” said Graham Bamlforth, national sales manager at Superbreak. “Over the past few years, event packages have soared in popularity and we continue to acquire ticket allocation for a diverse range of events from exhibitions around the UK to the latest pop and rock acts at the O2 Arena.” More than 10,000 customers went on an events package with the company last year.
