The Yachts of Seabourn has appointed a new head of sales to increase the cruise line’s trade awareness. Paul Beale is expected to take a “‘hands on’ approach” with travel agents and broaden Seabourn’s distribution. The news comes after a 250 percent capacity increase for the cruise line, following the introduction of Odyssey, Sojourn and Quest (to launch in June). “As a team we are continually searching for small independent luxury agents who have similar high standards for their clientele, whether it be in land or sea based holidays and would encourage them to get in touch with any member of our team,” said Beale. Jo Sillence has also been appointed national accounts manager to oversee established clients.
