Celebrity Cruises has expanded its ‘Celebrity Life’ activity programme onboard its ships. Selected voyages will now include lectures from educational tours company Smithsonian Journeys. Talks will be linked to the cruise’s upcoming ports of call. “We created Celebrity Life as a way for our guests to enjoy authentic, fun activities that deepen the value of their holiday experience, particularly in the areas that they enjoy most, such as food and wine, wellness and enrichment,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, senior vice president of Celebrity Cruises. “Now, one year later, we have taken feedback from our guests and built on the success of the original programme”. The cruise line is also expected to increase the use of its iPads onboard, with the introduction of scavenger hunts. More pool games, an audience response system for game-show style competitions and evening music festivals will also be launched.
