VisitEngland encourages country to look forward to other sporting events

VisitEngland has urged the country to get behind various sporting events following England’s unsuccessful bid to host the 2018 World Cup. James Berresford, chief executive at the association, said we should look forward to events that England is already set to host, such as Olympic and Paralympic Games, Rugby League World Cup, Rugby Union World Cup and Cricket World Cup. “We are all obviously disappointed that England has been unsuccessful in its bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
