Fred. Olsen set to manage onboard spas

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced that it will be taking over the running of its onboard spa offer across its fleet of four cruise ships, with effect from early 2011. Whilst retaining the name ‘Atlantis Spa’, under Fred. Olsen’s direct management, the spas on board Balmoral, Boudicca, Braemar and Black Watch will benefit from the introduction of an even wider range of products. A new team of international spa and beauty specialists has been recruited to operate the new spa offer, all of whom have been sourced from five-star hotels and resorts from all over the world. “By taking over the running of the spas ourselves, we are in an even stronger position to be able to respond to the needs of our guests, and to provide them with the spa treatments and product ranges that form an important part of their cruise experience,” added Nigel Lingard, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ marketing director.
