Dubai Tourism andCommerce Marketing (DTCM) has announced that it will hold a series of focusgroups to receive agent feedback about Dubai. Frontline staff and tour operatorreservations teams will be asked to discuss the destination’s affordability,markets, laws and perceptions of its culture. Its initial forums focused onDubai’s cultural experiences and local customs. We are investingtime to ensure that travel agents know what Dubai’s strengths are, and have theknowledge to tackle any misconceptions or issues they face from customer” saidIan Scott, UK and Ireland director at DTCM. “We want to make it as easy aspossible for agents to sell and promote Dubai and the focus groups have provento be a great tool to enable us to work together successfully.” DTCM will usethe feedback to revise its training presentations and fam trip itineraries.
