Jersey Tourism rolls out new marketing campaign

Jersey Tourism is rolling out a new advertising campaign as part of a new marketing strategy for 2011. The campaign forms, which puts TV as the core focus of this year’s advertising, positions Jersey as ‘the warmest place in the British Isles’. Jersey girl and local singer/songwriter Nerina Pallot has given her vocal backing to the campaign. “Following our work with the Tourism Marketing Advisory Panel, we agreed that, whilst the male voiceover from the previous three years had been successful, it was time to ring the changes for 2011,” said Simon Le Huray, marketing manager at Jersey Tourism. “We have taken Jersey Tourism’s marketing in a new direction and are capitalising on one of our greatest assets - the weather. While we were working with Nerina for the instrumental version of the track, she also agreed to go into the recording studio and record the voiceover for the TV commercial.”
