Failed tour operator Diamond Coaches has met with administrators to discuss a potential takeover. The Welsh-based coach operator, which offered day trips and package holidays, went into administration with PricewaterhouseCoopers on Friday. It has now received interest from other coach companies in Wales, including Edwards Coaches and Ferris. It is unsure how many passengers have been affected by Diamond’s collapse, although PwC has said that all holiday customers would receive a refund. However, the situation for day trippers was ‘unclear’.
