bmibaby resumes service from Manchester to Newquay earlier than planned

bmibaby has resumed its service from Manchester Airport to Newquay Cornwall Airport earlier than planned. The twice weekly flights will commence on 4 February, eight weeks earlier than in 2010, flying on Mondays and Fridays. During peak time, bmibaby will operate up to six flights a week from Manchester Airport to Cornwall. “We are pleased to be able to launch our service from Manchester to Newquay even earlier this year due to popular demand,” said Julian Carr, managing director of bmibaby. “With short flight times, travellers can take out the hassle of driving from one end of the country to the other.” Andrew Harrison, managing director of Manchester Airport, added: “Passengers utilising Manchester will be pleased to have access to the tourist draws of Cornwall with this route and we hope to see more and more people from the South West coming to Manchester to sample what we have on offer here as well. It’s not too long to go before we enter our summer season and I’m confident it’ll prove popular.”
