Cosmos is to resume its hotel and cruise programmes to Luxor and Tunisia following the FCO’s change in travel advice. The tour operator will recommence flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Luxor from 7 March and to Monastir from 6 March. “With the support of both tourist boards we expect demand to revert to previous levels very quickly,” said Phil Boggon, product and commercial director at Cosmos. “We will obviously put the most price competitive deals into the market to stimulate early demand.” Its flight only operator Avro will also resume normal operations. In addition, Cosmos has announced that it will hold an agent fam trip to Tunisia from 22 to 26 March.
