Marriott, Saga Holidays, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and P&O Cruises have been rated as some of the top 10 companies for customer service in a UK consumer poll. Those surveyed for the UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI), conducted by the Institute of Customer Service, scored the hotel chain 86/100 on ‘providing world-class service’. In addition, Saga and Enterprise received an 85/100 score and P&O Cruises was rated at 84/100. Carol Marlow, managing director of P&O Cruises, said its customer service had helped it secure a high number of repeat bookings. “We are delighted to see such a positive result from this survey and it is testimony to the hard work that our teams put in both on shore and on board,” she said. “We place great emphasis on having fantastic customer service and making sure that the customer journey is a smooth one, right from the booking through to the end of the holiday.” Hilton, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Holidays, Eurotunnel, Virgin Trains, P&O Ferries and British Airways were included in the seperate top five tourism and transport categories.
