Cosmos deals drive package sales

Cosmos has reported that sales of its package holidays have proved popular thanks to the tour operator’s 50th anniversary discounts. Spain and Portugal remain as top selling destinations for the company, although it said Cyprus and Turkey have also sold well in the last month. Further afield, the tour operator has seen Florida make a comeback, with sales also up for Kenya, Mexico, Tobago and Grenada. “We have seen a lot of interesting trends in our 50 year history,” said Hugh Morgan managing director of Cosmos. “What’s very surprising though is that the firm favourite for Brits when choosing their annual sunshine holiday continues to be Spain. It seems the country has continued to evolve and provides our holidaymakers with exactly what they are looking for which is the widest possible choice and great value and we’ll be looking to increase further the number of holidays we have on sale there to meet this demand.”
