ACE reveals Cruise Convention speakers

ACE has announced that Mike Penning, UK shipping minister will open its UK Cruise Convention in May. Penning will be joined by Andy Stuart from Norwegian Cruise Line and Jan Swartz from Princess Cruises at the three day event. On the second day, Frank Barrett, travel editor of the Mail on Sunday will join Giulio Libutti, from MSC, Dominic Paul from Royal Caribbean, Graham Sadler from Regent Seven Seas, David Selby from Thomson Cruise and Island Cruises and Daniela Wagner from eWaterways to discuss family cruising, packages, river cruising and European style cruise holidays. In addition, the third day will provide travel agent training with a view from the hotel director of Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and P&O Cruises Aurora. “I’m delighted we have such a strong line up of exceptional speakers, all highly knowledgeable and able to provide travel agents with the  latest news, trends and advice designed to help them turn high consumer interest into increased cruise sales,” said Flo Powell, director of ACE. “The introduction of Columbus Day also allows us to tailor the content to owners, managers and ACE ambassadors so that we can maximise their time at the event, while offering all agents ship visits, business sessions and the Cruise Convention Trade Fair.”
