Best Western adds six British members

Best Western has added six British hotels to its portfolio. New additions include the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel, a refurbished Elizabethan manor with 47 rooms and a great hall. The Summerhill Hotel and Suites in Aberdeen has also opened, as well as the Maitrise Suites Apartment Hotel in London. Meanwhile, the Royal Adelaide Hotel has opened near Windsor Castle and the hotel chain has also opened the Cheltenham Regency Hotel and Dover Marina Hotel. Most of the hotels are refurbishments and offer no more than 81 rooms. “We pride ourselves on our portfolio of ‘hotels with personality’ and are pleased to be welcoming these six new members into this group,” said Keith Pope, director of Best Western. “We have strong expansion plans for 2011 with more new hotels for the group on their way soon.”
