Travel Counsellors has introduced a training and support programme for its travel agents’ partners and spouses. The programme was launched at one of TC’s mini conferences last week and aims to provide other halves the tools and skills to help market the agents’ business. It follows the launch of TC Kids last summer, which aimed to keep children entertained while counsellors worked at home. “We are proud of the community we have developed and grown here at Travel Counsellors and take a keen interest in all aspects of your lives, welcoming not just yourselves but your partners and children into the TC family,” said Malcolm Hingley, sales director at TC. “With this in mind last year we introduced our TC Kids programme which I am sure you will agree has proven a huge success and now we are launching this partner programme to enable your partners to play an active role in your business and be part of your success.” TC will hold a partner training day in May at its head office which will give them an insight to the company, its CMS, marketing tools and training on networking. “Essentially partners will be acting as an ambassador for their Travel Counsellor,” explained Hingley.
