Club Med reports rise in summer sales

All-inclusive operator Club Med has announced it has seen double digit growth in sales across several of its European resorts. The number of UK visitors to its Beldi resort in Turkey is said to have increased 59 percent, while sales to Da Balaia in Portugal were up 54 percent and bookings to Napitia in Italy increase 49 percent. The operator has attributed the increase in sales to the growing all-inclusive trend, which has been ‘confirmed’ in a YouGov study. Results revealed that 40 percent of Brits found the all-inclusive option less stressful and 59 percent of respondents were set to spend the same amount or more on their holiday this year than last year.
