Chameleon Worldwide reports rise in bookings

Chameleon Worldwide has seen a near 500 percent increase in bookings throughout April compared to the same period last year. The travel company, which includes the Wildlife Worldwide, Walks Worldwide, Families Worldwide, Dive Worldwide, Oceans Worldwide and Schools Worldwide names, is remaining confident about the figures for the rest of 2011. “Demand for diving and walking holidays is well up on last year and the early signs are that the positive trend from March (which showed a 19 percent increase) seems to be continuing into April – bookings so far this month up almost 500 percent on the same period last year,” said Mark Wright, managing director of Chameleon. “There seems to be a general mood of optimism and people love to have a great holiday to look forward to.”
