Affinion boosts hotel offering in Travelcube deal

Affinion International Travel has increased its accommodation product through an agreement with Travelcube. The travel agent now offers around 80,000 properties which can be searched by type, star rating, room type, board basis and supplier. “By bringing in Travelcube product, we are effectively doubling our accommodation content which improves what we can offer both online and through our agent desk top,” said Mark Mitchell, commercial and product director for travel at Affinion. “We are constantly improving and enhancing our hotel proposition as partnering with new and existing travel suppliers of any shape and size is key to our growth plans for 2011 and therefore we see this kind of product and technology innovation is key to attracting them.”
