Etihad Airways has expanded its transfer service with a stop at the Dubai Marina Mall. The airline’s luxury coach service, which also calls at Chelsea Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road, had been added to make Dubai more accessible from Abu Dhabi International Airport. “As Etihad grows, Dubai becomes an increasingly important market for us and Abu Dhabi is the ideal gateway into new Dubai, or from the new Dubai area to the world,” said Peter Baumgartner, chief commercial officer at Etihad. “By expanding our transfer services to the city, our guests will have the opportunity to take advantage of travelling to and from the nearby city.” In addition, the airline has launched a new loyalty scheme for businesses. The programme, aimed at SMEs, is called BusinessConnect and offers rewards such as free flights, upgrades and items.
