Crystal Serenity has completed its US25 million redesign during the cruise line’s longest drydock period. Staterooms, retail units, the pool deck and corridors have been given a makeover and the outside and inside of the vessel have undergone maintenance. Staterooms now feature new furniture and interiors including longer sofas, blu-ray players and flat-screen televisions. Meanwhile, the cruise line has announced a ‘Film and Theatre’ themed voyage onboard Crystal Symphony. The cruise will feature talks from those involved in Broadway musicals, the owner of the world’s largest private collection of Hollywood costumes and other theatre insiders. There will also be private screenings with post-film discussions. The 19-night voyage will depart from San Francisco on 25 August.
