Eurostar adds bank holiday services due to high demand

Eurostar has announced it will run additional services this weekend to meet increased demand from the ash cloud flight disruption. The train operator will run add 750 seats in an extra service on Friday (27 May) at 10.01 from St Pancras, arriving at Paris’ Gare du Nord at 13.17. The return service will leave Paris at 14.43 to arrive in London at 15.59. This service will also be operated on Saturday 28 May. “Our services are always busy over bank holiday weekends, but we have seen a spike in demand over the next few days following the ash cloud disruption,” said Mary Walsh, director of communications at Eurostar. “We continue to monitor the situation and if the demand for tickets grows further we are in a position to lay on more additional services.”
