Cruise line offers to help stranded passengers in Norway

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has offered to help any travel agents and clients who are faced with flight cancellations in Norway due to the ash cloud. The cruise line currently has two ships sailing in the Norwegian fjords with some empty cabins. It has now set up a special set of fares for the staterooms so that people stuck in Norway can return to the UK on one of the ships. The Marco Polo would return to London Tilbury, while Ocean Countess would take passengers to Hull. Up to eight departure points are available from tomorrow until 1 June, with prices starting from
