LOCOG CEO to speak at BTM

The CEO of the London Olympic Games organisers is to speak at this year’s Business Travel Market (BTM). Paul Deighton, CEO of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) is to make a keynote speech on the second day of the trade show on 23 June. Deighton will present a 20 minute speech on how he is ensuring infrastructure and venues are ready for the games, before answering questions from the floor. “It was a real coup to secure a speaker of the calibre of Paul Deighton for this year’s BTM,” said Paul Robin, event director of BTM. “We’re committed to providing interesting, current, informative content at the event and Paul’s speech will, I’m sure, provide some interesting insights into the opportunities and threats which exist for the travel industry around such a special event.”
