A new roundtrip attraction has been launched along the Devon coastline this summer for tourists. ‘The Teignmouth Circular’ includes itineraries to Torquay and Dartmouth from Teignmouth and will be offered by the Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company. The Torquay service includes a cruise along the coastline with views of Oddicombe Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Downs and Thatcher’s Rock, with a coach service back to the departure point. Those on the Dartmouth tour will continue on the boat, then take the return journey by steam train and coach. Services will run every Saturday until 3 September (except 30 July and 27 August). DSR&RB has also launched a ‘waverider’ card that allows access on all its transport for three days and is similar to an Oystercard.
