Legacy Hotels acquires two properties

Legacy Hotels and Resorts has acquired two properties in East Sussex, adding more than 2,000 rooms to its portfolio. The hotel chain is now the operators of the White Hart Hotel in Lewes and Boship Farm Hotel near Hailsham. Both will retain their staff including general managers Bill Reay and Herve Goulet. “It has been very tough operating as an independent hotelier in recent years and so I felt the time was right to hand over the day-to-day management of both hotels to an experienced and flexible operator,” said Cliff Ayris, former owner of both properties. Legacy now has 34 hotels in its portfolio and plans to add more properties in a few weeks.
