Regent Seven Seas has launched a new ‘Build You Own Cruise’ concept in its latest brochure. The programme is designed to offer longer cruises by piecing together segments of itineraries or consecutively adding sailings. This includes a 90-nights or more combination cruise from four embarkation points; consecutive 50-71 night itineraries from November 2011 to March 2012 and a DIY cruise with a choice of 18 segments from November 2011 to July 2012. The concept is available on cruises across Asia, Australia and Europe and include features such as return flights and transfers, unlimited shore excursions and complimentary food, drink and gratuities. Segment combinations and a full 72-night circumnavigation of South America is also available. “We know our guests prefer to sail longer voyages with Regent, so our collection of shorter segment cruises provide a port intensive version of a world cruise without the sea days at either end, enabling guests to decide their own itinerary, how long they want to be away and how far they want to travel,” said Graham Sadler, managing director of Regent Seven Seas Cruises Europe. “The cruises also start early in the Winter, meaning guests can get away a bit earlier than a traditional world cruise and not come back until July”.
